Hi friends. I’m Trey Holcomb, an almost 50 year old high school former coach and still government teacher in my beloved Fort Worth, Texas. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in 1997 and have been coaching football and baseball and teaching history and other social studies classes for over 21 years all over this great state including Royse City, Fritch, Quanah, Tolar and of course here in Ft. Worth.

I am above all things a follower of Jesus.

I’m a native of the Fort Worth, Texas area (Watauga and Haltom City) and a lifelong Texan. I’ve been very happily married for 20 years this summer to my best friend Manda. I’m a voracious reader, and since 2012, an activist for issues affecting human liberty.

I believe that in a representative government all representatives and other government officials hold a sacred public trust, and must be held to the highest standards of behavior conducting their actions on our behalf according to the principle of “Love thy neighbor”.
